On Monday the 5th of October the year 9/10 CFA class went to the Warrnambool airport to go and see the brand new Air Ambulance helicopter.  The hanger the helicopter stays in is massive with a gym, bedrooms and a loungeroom and kitchen. The paramedic Darren, the pilot Matt and the aircrew dave showed us the Helicopter.

some interesting facts that we learned were that the
Helicopter cost aroun $1.2 million and that it costs $5000 to keep it in the air each hour. Darren told us it averages arounf 55 minutes to fly from Warrnambool to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

The day was very interesting and we all really appreciate Ros Stewart for pulling some strings so that we could go see the air ambulance.

This week at our school it is literacy and numeracy week.

On Wednesday the 22nd of july students from hawkesdale college went to Warrnambool T.A.F.E to have a go at courses that they might want to do next year. I was in automotive for the day and i enjoyed it very much. In the morning we where shown around the buildings and taught about workplace safety. Just before lunch we got to start taking apart a 4 stroke engine to have a look at whats inside like the crankshaft and throttle. We got an hour for lunch and T.A.F.E supplied us with pizza and drinks which was pretty awesome. We only did one hour after lunch, my group put our engine back together then it was time to go. It was a very fun and interesting day, and i am thinking about taking up a course next year.

my personal favourite post is the one i did on Ben cousins titled will ben cousins make a return to AFL footy????. It is my favourite because it is talking about my favourite sport and something i am very passionate about.

My post with the most comments is my clustr map one. this is because the people were saying how true it is about it feeling so good when you see that people are watching you.

I have put posts in voluntarily such as the one about Ben Cousins.

i Have put pictures, podcasts and polls in my blog to make more people visit.

for christmas i really want a new cricket bat, but since my parents are way to budget and come up with a heap of excuses i cannot get one.

my parents are getting me a TV just so i stop complaining about the bat. But they still probably wont get me the tv because they think i will have forgotten by then.

i really dont want anything more for christmas exept maybe something i can use to pull a prank on my family.
